Network Share is empty via Hostname, but shows files via IP

Server 2008 R2

Using the IP address followed by the network share path, I can see all my files on the NAS drive.

192.168.2.120\Public\  * Shows all my files on the NAS

Using the Hostname followed by the network share path says "This folder is empty."

MyNAS\Public\  * "This folder is empty."

I have rebooted the server, flushed the DNS Cache, and checked the Credential Manager (No entry found for the NAS) with no success.

Also, the MyNAS share does not show up in the Network browser. Like I mentioned earlier, I can type it in though, and it will open the share folder with no issues, BUT report that it is EMPTY for some reason.

Any suggestions?

Update:

Could using a hostname for the NAS that is part of the domain name result in this behavior?

FQDN is masterserver.master.com

Hostname for NAS is master
