I have 2008 domain controller where I installed Certificate services and I have 2012 member server where I installed the NPS role.
I have wireless network setup with WPA2 and AES/CCMP as encryption and have it point to the NPS server for authentication.
On my NPS
Connection Request Policies : "Use Windows authentication for all users" Enabled and that's all I have
Network Policies: "Wireless PEAP"
Conditions = Windows Groups: (Have AD "WirelessUsers" group), NAS Port Type: Wireless-IEEE 802.11, Authentication Type: EAP OR PEAP
I followed most instructions from http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles-tutorials/windows-server-2008/Setting-up-Wi-Fi-Authentication-Windows-Server-2008-Part2.html
and ton of other articles from googling.
I copied the cert from 2008 AD DC to client PC and done the authentication same way but client pc not connecting.
Do I need to have NPS setup on the 2008 AD DC?
do I need to export the cert from the server where I have NPS installed (2012 member server)? and install it on the client win 7 PC?
Been trying to get this working but had no luck at all. hope I can find some answer.
