Hello!
Can we change the certificate that NPS and our root CA use after a self signed cert is already installed?
We've built a standalone CA and NPS server to handle a 802.1x wireless deployment in our office. The server was setup to use a self-signed cert, however we want to use a 3rd party cert we recently purchased. I got the 3rd party cert installed and working, however we get an error message saying "The server "<self signed cert name> is not configured as a valid NPS server to connect to for this profile".
I have a maintenance scheduled tomorrow night to decommission both of our CAs/NPS servers and reinstall them using the 3rd party cert, but if someone knows a way I can change NPS without decommissioning the server, it would save me a ton of time.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
