Does anyone know why Network discovery on Windows 10 machines does not work on a domain?

Hi.

I am upgrading our Domain workstations to Windows 10 Pro.

We have a simple 2012 Domain controller which is a brand new DC.

Now when i click on network to see all other machines on the domain, it will not see them, however I can ping and enter there computer name to access directly. This seems to be a network discovery problem.

I have tried all the normal routes, ensure the services required are started and automatically enabled, disabled firewalls (including Windows Firewall on a plain fresh installed workstation connected to the Domain) without anything else installed.

All our Windows 7 and 8/8.1 machine are unaffected so I know that there is no issue with the DC configuration.

I also tried enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP, Again this had no positive effect.

Has anyone else come across this, know a work around to solve this?

Thanks

Craig
